La directriz fue suscrita por el presidente de la República, Carlos Alvarado Quesada, y el ministro de Obras Públicas y Transportes, Rodolfo Méndez Mata. Instituciones afectadas por la huelga presentan solicitud de declaratoria de ilegalidad

Por esta razón, los jerarcas de diversas instituciones públicas presentaron durante esta mañana, la respectiva declaratoria de ilegalidad ante las instancias correspondientes. El presidente de la República, Carlos Alvarado Quesada, declaró la víspera, en cadena nacional, que la ilegalidad de la huelga anunciada para este lunes 10 de setiembre “se hará valer ante los tribunales”.
